Sherry as guest vocalist for Belgian drum&bass producer Netsky at Dour Festival 2016

Netsky produces music of the liquid funk style – drum and bass music with many instrumental layers and frequent vocals

Big love to @netskyofficial for having me as a vocalist at @dourfestival in Belgium, it was an amazing experience and the team are awesome!! @michaelschack @bablmusic @rosiepopsy — at Dour Festival.

Netsky creates storm and sweaty bodies in Dour: C'est party

Wednesday night the legion of Netsky demanded grim dominion over Dour on. An army of three in immaculate white. What a contrast with the messy impression you already made on day one of the festival! That frenzied party mood was the party of the drum 'n' bass prince happy only benefit. The public moshte, billowed (puking too often once) and danced herself a screw out.

"He soon will go through the night?" Wanted to know MC Script. The heated public reactions he flat previously gleaned during 'Love Has Gone' could relate to it just a rhetorical question. Dour nobody seemed to think of sleep. At most, in the metaphorical sense, maybe. No hormonal excess pale indeed zonevreemd in the moshpit, during " Love Has Gone " and " Come Alive actually takes light-erotic proportions. Schurkten bodies are agitated against one another, touching arms and tongues intertwined and even we felt how suddenly our head in a headlock was taken by two unknown guys who planted a wet kiss on our marble.

"There's a storm coming," we had a guest singer Sherry Davis told earlier to announce the opening song "Thunder."They took the place of studio voice Emeli SandΓ© in Dour and saw the storm before her eyes swell. In a cordon of hundred meters before the stage ended you from the first minute in a wing mass, which had won after one stanza to hurricane strength. Et c'Γ©tait parti!
Drum 'n' bass is carrying hardly a sensual image, but the female-friendly hybrid version Boris Daenen put down in Dour, it was obvious indeed. With his new LP III, he also seeks the mainstream, and he does a craving Don Juan of the dance floor, with sharp beats and sexy pop songs. Remarkably, his own body, he barely threw the fight. Occasionally he came from behind his synths to drumming on snare drums, but otherwise he mainly seemed to want to focus on his keyboard, and exchanged more than a few moments with his keyboard companion Babl Lemmens and drummer Michael Shack.
The synths are otherwise flashy with the keyboard tilted towards the audience, so you constantly their fingers over the keys saw flashes or sliding. Nothing in the hands, nothing in the sleeves: live is live, apparently seemed the mission statement. At most a few guest voices walked along on tape. The other songs were sometimes sung by Sheri and Paije. That first blow left her voice like a charming spring breeze through the site, the latter put in 'Who Knows' a solid throat as if he was in the pulpit. As MC script, which constantly dashing across the stage and stimulated the audience, they assured that the show never donned static.

Not that that opportunity was very large: with flames flared meters high, CO2 guns roared tirelessly, and a crackling light show you even did at the other end of the site not to yawn oppression. Never a dull moment.

In the chilly Dour temperature also climbed rapidly, while he glued a warm summer atmosphere studs D & B

Netsky plays this year once live in our country. A little sin, but good: in the finals he made the stepmother actual tour agenda to charter a plane to Tomorrowland Brasil.Samba dancers 'Rio' embellishing with feathers and summer sultry dances were taking a nice surplus. In the chilly Dour therefore the temperature climbed rapidly, while he glued a warm summer atmosphere studs D & B. Suddenly cruisete you and I note in Rio de Janeiro through the sunlit streets, with a rain of confetti and a panorama full of half-naked, perfectly sculpted bodies.
"Whether we thought about sleeping?" What did you think, Script!
Netsky 3/9 plays a DJ set at Laundry Day 25/2 and a live concert at the Sportpaleis.
